This series of five images has just been awarded a Honorable Mention in the Monovisions Photography Awards of London, in the section of Architecture. This is an international competition dedicated solely to black and white photography.
Series based on famous museum created by Frank Gehry in the city of Bilbao, Spain.
The main interest from the author of the images, who is fascinated with this architectural artwork, is about metalic titanium textures and shapes interacting with the light and enviroment, that here is reduced just to cloudy and stormy skies. These images also play with an imaginary idea of nature trying to imitate the buiding shapes instead the opposite.”
Thank you very much to the prestigious jury (Florin Firimita, Leanne Surfleet, Martin Ogolter, Han Shun Zhou, Michael Koester, Benita Suchodrev, Radoslaw Pujan, Mark & Magdalena Shackleton, Alex Manchev, Evgenii Bashta, polina Petrenko) and the organization of the Monovisions Photography Awards, as well as the Monovisions Photography Magazine.
