Yesterday I received the news that this image had to be awarded with the Gold Medal from the Trierenberg Super Circuit 2016 in Austria. It is the seventh time that my work is awarded in this competition over the years (6 Gold and one bronze medals). The 9 images that I sent have been finalists, 8 of them accepted in the 4 salons that make up the circuit.
The Trierenberg is amongst the photographic competitions one of the largest and most important in the world. Massive participation and high level of photographers from more than 100 countries always break records. It consists of several sections with specialized themes covering many styles.
The exhibition and slide show resulting are touring cities in Austria and Germany for months. Although the strong point is its catalogue compilation, an excellent book that getting one's work published is considered almost a prize in itself, in addition to the spectacular Awards Gala Night.
This year the gala celebrates also the 25th Anniversary of the Super Circuit.
Congratulations and many thanks to Dr. Chris Hinterobermaier, Chairman of the competition and all the excellent Fotoforum team for their work over many years.
