Nuevo premio internacional para la serie «Lighting Clothes», esta vez en los prestigiosos International Photography Awards™ 2016 de Los Angeles en la sección profesional de fotografía publicitaria- belleza, galardonada con el segundo premio.

Los International Photography Awards™ (IPA) dirigen desde 2003 una competición anual para fotógrafos profesionales, no profesionales y estudiantes a escala global, creando uno de los certámenes más codiciados y exhaustivos en el mundo fotográfico actual. Las obras premiadas se publicarán en su excelente libro anual.

Dada la altísima calidad y cantidad de obras presentadas de tantos países, agradecemos especialmente a la organización y al jurado este nuevo premio.

2016 International Photography Awards Announces Winners of the Competition

«Ramon Vaquero was Awarded: 2nd place in Advertising – Beauty category for the winning entry «Lighting Clothes»

Entry Title: «Lighting Clothes»
Name: Ramon Vaquero, Spain
Category and Expertise: Advertising, Professional

Entry Description: Lighting Clothes is a personal fashion/beauty image series where clothing or jewelry are replaced by laser light lines, as an attempt to create a metaphor of the conventional elements of the fashion world, as well as an image about the elegance itself. To give the desired character to the images, it was chosen a mixture of two different light sources like studio gel-coloured flash units along with continuous laser light.
Simplicity and strong basic coloured light contrast were the main approach for the making of these images.

About Winner:
Vigo (Spain)-based professional photographer since the nineties. Advertising image works, social, industrial, studio and report for official institutions, public and private institutions, companies, visual producers, agencies and private clients. At the same time he develops personal photography as an author. Several have been award-winning, shown in exhibitions and published internationally.
