This photograph from a jewelry studio session just received a Honorable Mention in Professional Fashion and Beauty in the 2020 edition of the Monochrome Photography Awards, a prestigious London-based international competition dedicated to promoting and discovering black and white images of the “World's Most Amazing Photographers”.
This year they received 7.096 works of 91 different countries. The jury was formed by Alessandro Zanoni, Christina Dim, Vassilis Tangoulis, Pedro Dimitrow, Ying Yin, Márton Mogyorósy, Clement Merouani y Petra Leary.

Part from a series of a jewelry brand assigment. Shot in studio with a rather simple lighting scheme, the previous idea behind this photograph was just to relate and create a mood with two main things: Jewel artwork and human skin.
Vigo (Spain)-based professional photographer since the nineties.
From his studio performs works of advertising image, social, industrial, portrait, beauty and report. His clients include official institutions, public and private institutions, companies, brands, design studios, advertising agencies, producers and individuals. At the same time he develops personal photography as an author.
Many of them have been award-winning, shown in exhibitions and published internationally in countries such as Spain, Austria, Holland, Sweden, United Kingdom, Brazil, U.S.A. or Japan among others. His images have been cover of several Spanish and European journals, different books and catalogues.
He has taught courses and workshops in digital photography, processing and lighting, and has been selected as a jury member in several national and international photographic competitions
