Last 8 February we attended the gala awards XLVI edition International Gipuzkoa Trophy in Donosti, to collect the two FIAP Honorable Mention and CEF granted, as reported here.
The gala held in the auditorium Orona Fundazioa of Hernani, hosted over 200 invited attendees. Total, the Photographic Society of Gipuzkoa, organizer of this international event, granted a total of 66 awards.

On Monday 10 th October we attended the gala awards ceremony of the Edition 2016 from the biggest photo contest in the world, the Trierenberg Super Circuit in Linz, Austria.
The spectacular gala dinner held at the Design Center in Linz, hosted 500 people from several countries to attend the exhibition of award-winning works and the awards ceremony, welcoming also the 25th anniversary of the Super Circuit.
On this occasion I was there to pick up my seventh award in this prestigious photography festival, the Gold Medal in the special theme “Red”.

We have received a few days ago the Edition 2016 from the catalogs of the Trierenberg Super Circuit, that include three of my nine selected photographs, including the one awarded with the Medal of gold in the “Red” Special Theme:

Catalogs consist of two volumes: one corresponding to the classic Trierenber Super Circuit and the other to Special Themes Circuit. They reproduce a selection of images awarded and submitted to the contest of the highest quality and variety of genres.
Congratulations to the team of the Trierenberg Super Circuit and Fotoforum for their fantastic work on this edition, and to all those photographers award-winning and published with excellent works.

Yesterday I received the news that this image had to be awarded with the Gold Medal from the Trierenberg Super Circuit 2016 in Austria. It is the seventh time that my work is awarded in this competition over the years (6 Gold and one bronze medals). The 9 images that I sent have been finalists, 8 of them accepted in the 4 salons that make up the circuit.
The Trierenberg is amongst the photographic competitions one of the largest and most important in the world. Massive participation and high level of photographers from more than 100 countries always break records. It consists of several sections with specialized themes covering many styles.

I have the pleasure of being part of the exhibition of the Trierenberg Super Circuit 2013, as it reflects the Austrian press.
The exhibition will take place in the room of the new town hall in Linz of the 2 th to the 24 November, Besides touring several cities in Austria and Germany (Munich, Saltzburgo, Vienna, Innsbruck, Amstetten, WELS…) also in the form of “slide show”.

Yesterday 14 October the Trierenberg Super Circuit Awards gala was held at the Design Center in Linz, Austria. Congratulations to the organizers and winners in this new edition.
But this year I have not been able to attend to pick up medal VOAV that have rewarded the above image, recover a couple of photographs from the galas of 2010 and 2005, two of which I've had the pleasure to go to collect my awards.
New award for one of my pictures, the Photo Art Championship Gold Medal 2013.
In addition, the 4 photographs with which I have been involved have been selected as finalists to be part of the exhibition.

This photograph of my recent work has just been awarded the BRONZE MEDAL Vöav 2013, in the international competition in Austria Trierenberg SUPERCIRCUIT, the world's largest.

The magazine Foto Videó Magazin from Hungary releases an article on the Trierenberg Supercircuit de Austria 2012 in its January issue of 2013. For its cover, they have chosen one of the images by Ramón Vaquero.
In January of 2006 the Spanish magazine “Foto” chose for its cover another image by Ramón Vaquero for the same reason.
