Honorable Mention in the National Professional Photography Awards Lux 2018

The night of the 29 November took place at the Design Museum from Barcelona the gala for the XXVI edition of the National Awards for Professional Photography LUX 2018. My work received a Honorable Mention in Fashion and beauty.
I thank the jury for recognizing with an award outside the previous rules my series “Skin and Light“, to the Organization from the Lux Awards and the AFPE. Congratulations also to my colleagues and fellows awarded for the high quality of their work.

Faro de Vigo: “ Ramon Vaquero from Vigo gets three international awards”

In today's Edition, the journal Faro de Vigo has published an article in reference to the awards in the Tokyo International photo Awards, the ND Awards in London and the Los Angeles IPA. It can be seen in the section of culture/society in the print edition, and on the cover in the digital Edition.

The prestigious Photographic Art magazine have chosen for the cover of their issue 640 one of the photographs from Ramón Vaquero series awarded at the last LUX Awards in the section Fashion and beauty. Adding this one, they are already two covers published nationally and internationally with images of this series: another of the three images was the cover of Nikon Pro recently, as it has been published here

Photographic Art, founded in 1952, is the magazine dean of the Spanish photographic press dedicated to the dissemination of photography. Since its inception, it's committed to the defence of artistic values, the concept of authorship and the recognition of the photographic work.

Opening of Expo LUX 2015 in Madrid

Last 2 June to the 19:00 hours the inauguration took place of the Expo LUX 2015 in Madrid, in the Casa de Vacas Center.
Sample, that will be open to the 26 June, occurs in a larger format than the usual and, for the first time, in a cultural center. The travelling exhibition of the Lux thus becomes part of a new circuit in larger rooms.

Cover of the Nikon Pro magazine in Europe

The prestigious three-yearly magazine Nikon Pro has dedicated its Home from this Spring European issue to one of my award-winning photographs with the Silver Lux in Fashion and Beauty in the last edition of 2015.
Although Nikon Pro had already published some of my images on five previous occasions, this is the first time they choose to promote my work on their “desired” and selective cover.
The magazine is published in five languages and 29 countries sent, both in printed edition as digital for iPad and Android.
Many thanks once more to Nikon Pro and Cedar Communications London for this new cover, especially to editor Laurence Akers and Cassandra Kempster-Roberts for their kindness and facilities.

The night of the 18 November took place at the Auditorio Axa from Barcelona the gala for the XXIII National Awards of Professional Photography LUX 2015, where I was honored to receive the prestigious Silver LUX in Fashion and beauty.
